Messiah didn't build denominations (divisions) the body of Messiah is one. He didn't come to build a visible church but rather an invisible body.
In the first century, there were no denominations – only the body of Messiah (Matthew 16:18). Paul said there is just "one body" (Ephesians 4:4), and that body is the ekklesia (sold out ones) (Ephesians 1:22-23).
Simon Peter answered, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God." Yeshua said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven! And I also tell you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My community; and the gates of Sheol will not overpower it.
